Lakewood Lancer Band Boosters

WHO ARE WE? The band boosters are parents and/or grandparents of 5th-12th grade band members (current and past), alumni band members, and/or community members who work together to support the Lakewood Band program. The Boosters support the bands (5th-12th grade) and the directors through:

The Lakewood Band Boosters meet the 4th Tuesday of the month at 7:30 pm in the high school band room. There are a few exceptions to this so if you are interested, please check the booster news section of the website or the online calendar for the next meeting time and date. We encourage everyone to attend!

NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED: just the willingness to help. No dues or fees to join. Please come and be a part of this wonderful organization. Everyone can help in some way, so contact us about how you can help. It takes the support of everyone to keep the Lakewood Bands running strong.

Feel proud knowing you played a part in helping supply our hard working students with the support they need to have fun!!

When you are ready to volunteer in any aspect of our band program, please contact the booster president at or vice president at

If you would like to support the band through fundraisers, please read about some of the events below:

Millersport Sweet Corn Festival Donut Booth - Do you know it takes approximately 400 people to staff this booth over the course of the four day festival??? Not to mention the many, many hours spent cleaning, repairing, and setting up the booth to get ready during the week before and tearing down, packing, and cleaning up during the couple days afterward. We desperately need everyone to at least give a couple hours of their time to make this a success. So, please fill out the volunteer form and return it to the band director.

Market Day offers a full menu of over 160 convenient, nutritious selections available. Satisfaction guarantee on all items. At least 10% of your purchase goes to support the band. Go to to order online 24/7. Need more information? Please contact Kristy Bailey at

Timbuk Flower Sales - usually held in late April - early May. This is more of an individual effort, and is a great way to help your student earn monetary credits to cover their costs of band!

We look forward to meeting you and working with you as we all give of our time to be a part of making this band one we can continue to be extremely proud of! If you have any questions, please contact us.
